"First Officer Spock has described the area as a series of minor astronomical anomalies. Stress on the ship's hull is minimal and presents no apparent threat to it or the crew. We'll maintain position as we catalog, observe, and attempt to explain what we've encountered. Further information forthcoming. Kirk out."

He pushed a button at his desk, terminating the official ship's log. He thought briefly about checking in with Spock but knew his friend would be neck deep in computer analysis. Instead he decided to sit in the relative peace and quiet and review what was already available.

The ship, itself, should've alerted them. Would've alerted them had it been that the woman walking aboard the Enterprise was the ship. Though no one truly knew that nor would they unless she allowed them that knowledge. However, she does stop not far from the Captain's quarters and cants her head a bit. She could feel Jim in there, feel the rest of the crew and the hectic array throughout the ship. It was actually starting to make her a bit sick, but she dealt with it. She did every day.
